Use case: weekly review in 10 minutes

This routine keeps your pipeline clean and turns reports into one concrete action for next week.

When to use this

Run once per week, ideally on the same day and time.

10-minute routine

  1. Open applications still in Initial and update outdated ones.
  2. Apply manual updates from real events (rejection emails, completed interviews, offers).
  3. Check No Feedback items and confirm your silence rule still makes sense.
  4. Open Reports and read conversion + pipeline flow.
  5. In Sankey, find the biggest stage drop (before interview, interview 1, interview 2+, final).
  6. Choose one focus for next week (more applications, better targeting, or more follow-ups).

Quick interpretation

  • Drop before interviews -> improve resume fit and targeting.
  • Drop after interviews start -> improve preparation for the exact stage where drop is largest.
A table shows what changed. Reports show where the process leaks. Weekly review is where you turn that into one decision.

Common mistakes

  • Reviewing pipeline without correcting stale statuses first.
  • Changing too many things at once and losing signal.
  • Skipping a week and trying to reconstruct history later.

What success looks like

  • Statuses are current by end of review.
  • Reports are trusted for decision-making.
  • You leave review with one concrete priority for next week.
