Do statuses update automatically?
Usually no. You update statuses manually when events happen. No Feedback is set automatically after 15 days with no activity.
Why do reports look wrong sometimes?
Most report issues come from stale statuses. Update statuses first, then read reports.
Which statuses should I use at the start?
Start minimal: Initial, Interview, Rejected, and No Feedback (auto). Add more only if you need them.
What if the extension cannot parse a job page?
Try another posting layout or save the record in the web app manually as fallback.
How often should I review?
Once per week for 10 minutes is enough for most users.
What if I am burned out and skipped updates for weeks?
Do a soft reset: update only active applications first, ignore old noise, then return to weekly 10-minute reviews.
What happens after 15 days with no activity?
The application moves to No Feedback automatically. This closes silent loops and lowers manual cleanup.
I see a big drop before interviews. What should I do first?
Start with resume fit and role targeting. If Initial -> Interview conversion is weak, improve resume clarity for target roles and reduce low-fit applications.
I see a drop after interviews begin. How should I use Sankey?
Find the stage with the biggest drop (Interview 1, Interview 2+, final). Focus prep on that exact stage for one week, then compare your next report window.
Do I need to track everything perfectly?
No. Good-enough, consistent updates are better than perfect tracking that you cannot sustain.
